John is one of New Zealand’s top performing real estate salespeople and has been for more than 20 years. John has an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree.  Married for 40 years, he has 2 grown up children.  Born in the UK John emigrated to New Zealand in 1977.

Achievements

1ST Year In Real Estate – 1989-1990
Harvey’s Real Estate achieved 102 sales valued at over $11,000,000 twice breaking Company’s national record with 15 sales in one month.

2nd- 5th years – 1990—1995
Consistently the company No. 1 sales performer reaching over 400 listings sold in 5 years (around 20 times the industry average).  Studied for and qualified in Real Estate Law, Real Estate accounting and Administration, Real Estate Appraisal, Building and Maintenance.  Property management and Town and Country Planning and qualifying as AREINZ. Visited Melbourne, Australia to study Auction marketing with one of Australia’s leading Real Estate Auctioning Companies.

6th year – 1995 –1996
Joined Allen’s Real Estate in Henderson becoming their No. 1 sales performer.

7th- 10th year – 1996-2000
Purchased Allen’s Henderson office franchise and proceeded to open 3 more West Auckland branches at New Lynn, Te Atatu and Westgate appointing branch managers for each so that he could continue to sell real estate himself. Remained no. 1 sales person in West Auckland and in top 4 every year in Allen’s Group of around 300 sales people while administering 4 offices. Studied for and attained DVA qualification (Dedicated Vendor Advocate) awarded by the college of advance Negotiation. Attended the National Association of Realtors conference (NAR) on 3 separate occasions in USA to learn latest techniques in marketing, computer systems, Internet and E-commerce. By the middle of year 2000 John had achieved over $80,000,000 in residential real estate sales totalling close to 750 properties-a fantastic result in 11 years.

11th- 13th year – 2000-2002
Allen’s franchise sold, West Auckland 4 branches became Ray White offices.  John sold his 4 offices & continued as salesperson. Achieving National Millionaires & then Elite status putting him in the top ten nationally for Ray White out of around 800 Salespeople & in the top 1% of all Real Estate Salespeople in New Zealand.

 14th & 15th year – 2003-2004
Achieved over 1000 sales for a staggering $100,000,000 sales value.  Over 16th – 18th year achieved over 1200 sales for $150,000,000 sales value.

 16th – 18th year 2005 – 2008
Has now achieved over 1200 sales and $150,000,000 sales value and in the top 10 out of 1550 salespeople in Ray White New Zealand.

19th – 25th year 2008 – 2013
Still in the top 10 in Ray White Nationally. Over 1,385 sales. Sales value now almost $200,000,000.

26th year 2014
Elite status achieved for the 11th consecutive year. Over 1,425 sales. Sales value now over $275,000,000.

The best guide as to how well a real estate sales person will perform is not what they promise you but how well they have succeeded for others. Please choose carefully, there is a lot at stake.
