The number of sales in Waitakere City was 310. December is always low for sales
but this year was dramatically down on December 2014 which had 379 sales.
The median selling price in December 2015 was $717,500 up $6,000 from the month before. Further evidence that prices are not about to fall in Auckland overall and Waitakere City itself.
Because of the January 2016 falls in share prices of world markets and very low world inflation there is speculation of a further OCR interest cut as early as the first quarter of 2016.
