Did You Know?
That a lady called Dorothy who I was chatting with has lived in the same house on Gloria Ave for 61 years! At that time much of the Peninsula was farm land and to get to Te Atatu Peninsula a trip through Avondale, Kelston and Te Atatu South was required along Great North Road as the NW motorway was not open. Do you know anyone who has lived on the Peninsula longer? I would love to hear about it.
Quote of the month:
I had a perfectly wonderful evening, but this wasn’t it……Groucho Marx
Until next time,
Best wishes,
